Smarter Falco eDrive: Auto-Recovery, App Version 6 and a New Team in India

The trike got a lot of attention at Recumbent Cycle-Con 2026. But some of the biggest changes are inside the motor and the app. Here is what we have improved in the Falco eDrive that powers every Three Wheels of Magic.

Auto-recovery: the ride keeps going

We rewrote key parts of the motor software to be fault tolerant. If the drive detects a fault, it now recovers on its own. You get a notice in the app so you know what happened. But the motor keeps working and you keep riding.

Falco app version 6

Version 6 of the Falco app is out. It brings many changes that make it easier and more intuitive to use. Read the complete app guide to get started.

A rebuilt team in India

We have rebuilt our research and development team and our manufacturing team in India. A new group there focuses on trike technology and vehicle dynamics. The goal is a better-integrated trike and motor, at a price people can afford.

Range, regeneration and a quiet ride

The Falco eDrive is a gearless direct-drive motor. It is silent, and on downhills it can put energy back into the battery. The Three Wheels of Magic is rated for up to 100 miles on a charge at assist level 1. Falco rider Chuck Kennedy has done 100 miles on one battery in the hills of southwestern Pennsylvania. Read Chuck's story.
