Who the Three Wheels of Magic is for

You worry about balance

Three wheels do not tip at a stop. You sit low in a real seat, with your back supported. No need to put a foot down.

Hills or distance stop you

The motor adds power as you pedal, or on the throttle. Ride the hill you used to avoid. Ride home when you are tired.

Upright bikes hurt

A reclined seat spreads your weight. Far less pressure on hands, wrists and seat than an upright bike. Ask your doctor what is right for you.

You want value, not a showroom

You want a good electric trike that works, from people who stand behind the motor. Not a $9,000 build.

What comes in the box

  • Folding chromoly tadpole trike with mesh seat and adjustable boom

Already own a trike you love?

Then do not buy a new one. Add the motor instead. The Falco f7.9 is the same five-phase motor in a complete rear wheel, with a larger 672 Wh battery, for $2,295. It fits Catrike, TerraTrike, ICE, HP Velotechnik, Greenspeed and AZUB trikes with a 135 mm rear drop-out, plus two-wheel recumbents and tandems. Dealers also sell brand-specific kits: mid-drive motors that drive your chain (about $1,900 to $2,600 on sale) and Bosch kits made for one brand (about $3,300 to $3,550). The f7.9 is different. It is a hub motor, so it adds no wear to your chain and gears, and it gives you reverse, regenerative braking and a five-year warranty.

Common questions

Why does it cost so much less?

We make the motor ourselves and sell direct. There is no dealer markup, and the trike has one adjustable size instead of dozens of custom options.

Is a hub motor as good as a mid-drive?

For a trike, often better. A hub motor does not wear your chain and gears. Our five-phase motor adds reverse, regenerative braking, and zero drag when it is off, so it pedals like a normal trike. Mid-drives climb very steep hills well in low gears. Tell us your hills and we will tell you honestly which suits you.

How long until it ships?

Current lead time is 3 to 6 weeks. Call us for today's date.

Can I ride it indoors in winter?

Yes. With the optional smart trainer stand, the trike works with Zwift and other training apps.

Can I see one first?

Watch owners and reviewers ride it on the product page, or call us and ask anything.
