The Dyad is a classic Velocity touring and randonneuring rim — a strong, machined-sidewall clincher that handles loaded days, rough pavement, and dirt-road detours with the same patient confidence. Its 25c to 38c tire range hits the sweet spot for all-purpose bikes, commuters, and rando builds. If you want a rim that disappears under you mile after mile, the Dyad has been earning that reputation for years.
Built with Velocity Standard hubs and Sapim Force spokes, with a higher spoke count and built to a higher weight specification for heavier riders and loaded bikes. Each Velocity wheel includes our best "rim tape" solution standard. Velotape for tubeless models, Veloplugs for non-tubeless models.
