Designed as a wide, tubeless-compatible mountain rim, the Blunt 35's name refers to its generous internal width — giving any wheel built on it a broader footprint and more traction than a narrower rim. It's a strong choice for cross-country and all-mountain riders looking for lateral stiffness without a heavy weight penalty. We like to pair it with tires from 2.0" up to 2.6", and we like to use it to test the limits of where we can ride.
Built with Velocity Race Disc hubs and Sapim Race spokes. The 686 (32") size uses straight gauge spokes instead. Each Velocity wheel includes our best "rim tape" solution standard. Velotape for tubeless models, Veloplugs for non-tubeless models.
