Atlas is our heavy-duty touring rim — the strongest non-fat-bike rim we build, designed for riders packing loaded panniers on long, unknown roads. Machined sidewalls give you reliable rim-brake performance even in wet conditions, and a tire range from 28c to 45c covers everything from paved tours to light dirt detours. If you're heading out for weeks at a time with gear and don't want to think about your wheels, this is the rim we'd point you toward.
Built with Velocity Standard Disc hubs and Sapim Force spokes, with a higher spoke count and built to a higher weight specification for heavier riders and loaded bikes. Each Velocity wheel includes our best "rim tape" solution standard. Velotape for tubeless models, Veloplugs for non-tubeless models.
