Falco eMotors has made everything simple and easy. This article discussed resetting motor parameters.

There are 5 steps to set up or reset the motor. These steps can be used to set up the motor for the first time. By using a smartphone app you can configure your motor. The links for the apps are mentioned below.

PROCEDURE

Note: Do not shuffle or miss any of the steps.

STEP 1: CONNECTING THE APP WITH THE MOTOR.

➢Switch on the system

➢Monitor the small green light blinking on the wireless module (It must be blinking, if not please check the connections).

➢Switch on the Bluetooth on your smartphone.

➢Open the Falco Flash BLE 4.0 or 5.0 app.

➢Click on the Blue Button to scan for the motor.

➢The smartphone will scan for the available devices.

➢Find the device by the name Falco eDrive and pair it.

Now the app is paired with the motor.

STEP 2: SETTING UP THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE WHEEL

➢Click on the 3 dots in the android app or (gear icon for iPhone app) on the upper right corner.

➢Select CRM Setting.

➢Select the appropriate Wheel Circumference. (Please select the exact size of wheel installed)

STEP 3: RESET THE PARAMETERS

➢Go on the Torque Sensor Setting page (Slide the screen to the left, to turn the pages)

➢Click on the Restore button and wait until it shows successfully restored. (Or else do it once again)

➢Click on the Broadcast button, it will show successfully done. (Or else do it once again)

STEP 4: SENSOR SELECTION

➢Once again click on 3 dots in the android app or (gear icon for iPhone app) on the upper right corner.

➢Click on Sensor Selection.

➢Then select the sensor “Torque and speed sensor.”

➢Then go to the Torque Sensor Setting page.

➢Click on the Broadcast button, It will show successfully done. (Or else do it once again)

STEP 5: RESET THE POWER CLAMPS

➢Go to the Power Configurator Screen (Last Screen).

➢Click on the motor image and select the motor.

➢There are two options Assist and Regen that appear on the screen. Make sure the Assist option is visible. If not, the Regen option will be visible. Click on it to switch it to the assist option.

➢Then click the Restore button and wait until it shows successfully restored. (Or else do it once again)

➢Click on the Broadcast button, it will show successfully done. (Or else do it once again)

Here the settings are set perfectly.

IMPORTANT POINTS!

➢The app must be connected within 3 minutes after starting the system. If not, restart the system once again.

➢After starting the system, make sure the small Green LED on the Wireless Module.
