              To evaluate the battery performance of the 500W Falco e5.3 system, we conducted a real-world test on a Diamondback mountain bike along the Washington & Old Dominion Trail. Using a Cycle Analyst V3, Cycle Analogger, and Falco console, we logged key performance metrics, including power consumption, regeneration, and battery efficiency.

              During a 30-mile ride at Level 5 assistance, the system consumed 10Ah of battery capacity (81% of total) while maintaining an average speed of 14.3 mph. Peak power reached 1000W, with regenerative braking contributing 4.3% energy recovery. Analysis showed an average current draw of 5A, with peak currents hitting 28A per pack, impacting long-term battery health.

              By managing current draw and temperature, we can optimize battery longevity and efficiency. Future tests will explore different assistance levels and temperature effects to further refine battery performance.
