The Open Motor is a wheel option involving cutting all the spokes of a wheel freeing the motor. Slicing the wires insulation allowing for an unbolting of the cover so you can access the stator and pull the stator free. The open motor is necessary when needing efficient access to the stator, PCB, and other components.
